New Members

Becoming a member of the Eudora Chamber of Commerce is an investment! We want you to know that your investment in us is also an investment in yourself and in your business.  

As a new member of the Eudora Chamber, we will work to promote your business. The Eudora Chamber of Commerce will list your business on our website directory and extend an introduction in our monthly chamber newsletter which is sent via email to all businesses we are in contact with. Grand opening ribbon cutting and groundbreaking events are featured on our Facebook page. Members are also welcome to post their social media content to the Eudora Chamber Community Group to connect with Eudora patrons. Additionally, throughout your involvement in the Eudora Chamber of Commerce, you will have the continued opportunity to be featured on these channels as an event sponsor.

In addition to promoting your business, the Chamber can assist business owners in finding a space for your business and in identifying target markets in our community. Local marketing opportunities are also communicated with our member base, so you are informed on how to show up in the community to spread your organization’s message. We want to help you be successful, and as a member of the Eudora Chamber of Commerce, our resources will be your resources.

Putting Down Roots

The Eudora Chamber of Commerce is a business community. We are proud of the local talent in our Chamber organization and of the potential that we have to be better together. We are made up of businesses that are new to Eudora as well as businesses that have been here for generations. As you join the Chamber, you also become a part of this history.

Eudora is a growing community. Located strategically between Kansas City and Lawrence along the expanding K10 corridor, we offer an ideal location for many people looking to settle in the area. When new residents come to Eudora, the Eudora Chamber is one of the first organizations in town to welcome them. We provide all new residents with welcome bags that include educational and promotional items from our member organizations, so be sure to contact us to include your company’s promotional items.

A community magazine, Discover Eudora, is published twice a year and includes the Eudora Chamber membership directory. As one of the only print publications specifically for the Eudora community, inclusion in this publication serves as one of the most prominent advertising opportunities in Eudora. We feature two of our Member businesses in each biannual issue of the magazine with beautiful photography and your very own story. Additionally, the Eudora Chamber produces a monthly newsletter which highlights local business and offers ongoing promotional opportunities to members.

The Eudora Chamber website serves as a centralized touchpoint for residents to access information about chamber organizations. Listed here, the chamber membership directory includes information about the name of your business and contact information as well as a link to your business website. Membership in the chamber also qualifies your business for free employment advertising on the Chamber website where you may post open positions as well access to advertising space for your business. The Eudora Chamber also hosts business member job fairs to help you find your next hire locally.

Building a Network

To join the Eudora Chamber of Commerce is to join a community. We publicize special events and promotions of our member businesses, so be sure to let us know in advance of an open house, ground breaking, ribbon cutting, and grand re-opening events, as well as any other sponsorship opportunities within the community.

Our members meet for monthly ‘Coffee Connections’ and quarterly ‘Member Mixer’ networking events to offer an environment for members to connect with other business owners- who may also be potential clients. These member events are also sponsorship opportunities for members to promote their own businesses. Additionally, the Chamber hosts a range of other events throughout the year including the Annual Eudora Chamber Gala, the Easter Coloring Contest, and the Downtown Halloween Trunk or Treat. We also proudly offer our Student of the Week and Teacher of the Month programs with the Eudora School District, and more!

We also celebrate our Eudora Chamber of Commerce members! We recognize an exemplary chamber member business, an outstanding resident, and significant nonprofit organization each year for the “Business of the Year”, “Citizen of the Year”, and “Nonprofit of the Year” awards. These awards are presented during the chamber’s Annual Gala Celebration, where the selected chamber member receives an award to display at their place of business, are featured in the Eudora Times and on the chamber’s website & social media.

Connecting to Community

Members of the Eudora Chamber of Commerce are eligible for discounted membership rates at the Eudora Parks and Recreation Center. Chamber members, their employees, and their families are all eligible for this rate of $270. The discounted membership at the Eudora Parks and Recreation Center includes 24-hour access to the fitness room, a seasonal family pass to the Eudora Aquatic Center, access to the gymnasium, and an annual recreation center membership. Your chamber membership is also a tax-deductible business expense!

The Greatest Benefit of All

The Eudora Chamber of Commerce promotes business, but through that process, we promote our community. Becoming a part of the Eudora Chamber is also a way of becoming involved in this community. We are convinced that the City of Eudora is a great place to do business because it is a great place to live.
